• Having sufficient level of Turkish knowledge for sustaining social life.
• The interruptions realized within the residence period not exceeding 6 months.
• Having no record or suspicion which could endanger social life or national security prevent making application for citizenship.
• Having a job or income that could allow him/her lingering on or having his/her dependents linger on.
• Not having any health problem or epidemic which could endanger the health of the society.

The special conditions sought for the right of citizenship are related to the type of the right of citizenship for which the application shall be made. They are the special conditions related to that right depending on the way of gaining citizenship preferred among the various ways. For example; the persons who want to gain citizenship through being adopted are required to submit the documents requested with respect to this right whereas the persons who want to make an application for citizenship through residence are required to fulfill the conditions specified in this category.
